Hawkesbury Valley Equestrian Centre is a family owned and operated horse riding centre located in in Yarramundi, at the foothill of the Blue Mountains.
Grahame & Renee Ware are passionate equine professionals, having competed and trained in many different disciplines over their years in the horse industry.
Grahame Ware is a 4th generation horse master for films, with his specialty being harness & liberty horses. Grahame has spent over 25 years working full time as a horse trainer, which has included breaking in young horses to saddle & harness, training liberty horses, and competing in several different horse disciplines.
Renee Ware has been riding her entire life and started competing in cutting events at the age of 8 years old. Over the past 6 years she has started competing in Campdrafting & Stock Horse Shows.
Grahame & Renee joined forces in 2012 working with horses on the set of ‘The Great Gatsby’
In 2013, they were approached to re-open the former Scenic Hills Riding Ranch in Denham Court, which they opened under the name of Sydney Trail Riding Centre… It was a great opportunity to offer a unique place where everyday people can meet and ride the horses they use on film and television.
After 4 successful years of trail riding and teaching people to ride, Grahame & Renee wanted to create their very own centre where they could train people and horses intensively on a smaller more intimate scale.
During our days as Sydney Trail Riding Centre we gathered an amazing team of staff & instructors who will stay with us while we start our new venture in Yarramundi - Hawkesbury Valley Equestrian Centre.
